3. The Gatlinburg Trail
The Gatlinburg Trail is one of the best walking and biking trails because the trailhead is located right in downtown! The wide, accessible trail is nearly 2.5 miles long and takes you to Sugarlands Visitor Center within the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. You can choose to walk out and back or continue exploring one of the other trails that begin at the visitor center, such as Cataract Falls. Another great thing about the Gatlinburg Trail is that it’s dog-friendly!
